“Belgian Tango” is the second album of this incredibly energetic powerhouse of a band, its much more exciting than the name sounds!

Opening with such triumphant raw energy “Minefield and Cannonmen” is a good introduction of the dynamic song-writing of Fordamage.  The song blasts, pulses and ends with a sparse drum and 4 part vocal harmony which is as catchy as it is genius.  Though their sound has traces of Shellac in its raw  feral energy, it also reminds you of the optimism of the Beach Boys, danceability of Q and not U, and also the restrain and intricacy of early King Crimson.  The harsh bass sound of Anthony Fluery has the upfront aggression of The Jesus Lizard, NoMeansNo and early My Disco.

They are certainly a band to see live, I cannot recommend this enough.
